Hay hay it’s Donna Day! #8 Time for the Risotto Roundup!

First of all I would like to apologize: as you might have noticed I’m in Paris this month and sincerely, well, running around working, a-hum, and tasting french food has took almost all of my time. So – mea culpa – not only I had very few time for blogging in general, I also put much less time in this Donna Hay event than I would have liked to. So, thanks to all participants, (sorry if I didn’t reply to everyone!!) anyway here they are, your risottos for Donna. I hope it will give some inspiration to cook more risotto at home – I’ll certainly try some of the entries, I really will! – and, votes are now open … good luck to all!!

mmm, they all sound so good, so many ingredients I love (in addition to the arborio!)…fennel, wild mushrooms, etc. As to the photos,we ate all of mine–butternut chicken &sage– before I learned of the contest and had a chance to take the picture!

I would eat so well if I could taste a bit of each! Bummer I missed it for lack of time and travel!
